About the Instructor
Mr. Davis began his law enforcement journey in this very program. I attended from 2005-2007 (it was a 2 year program). I went on to serve as an officer with Staunton PD, a Conservation Police Officer (Game Warden) with DGIF, and I recently left Albemarle PD to teach here with over 12 years of combined experience.
I am a Defensive Tactics instructor and have experience and/or advanced training in SWAT, biking, interview/interrogation, narcotics, CIT, and gangs. In addition to teaching here, I also teach medical classes for a local community college. When I am not working, I spend much of my time camping, fishing, hunting, and mountain biking with my wife and two boys.
